Letter dimensions and size
Minimum size
9 x 13 cm within the Nordic countries and 9 x 14 cm to other countries.
Maximum size
Width + length + thickness = 90 cm, but the maximum length is 60 cm.
Maximum weight
2 kg.
Letters in the form of a roll (Åland)
The minimum size is length + twice the diameter at least 17 cm, but the length must be at least 10 cm. The maximum size is length + twice the diameter at most 104 cm, but the length must be at most 90 cm.
Large letters (Åland)
A letter is large when it is bigger than a standard mail slot, that is when the shortest side is over 25 cm, or the longer side is over 40 cm and/or the letter is thicker than 3 cm. The delivery time for large Priority letters is one day longer.
A surcharge applies to large letters.
Delivery
Sending a letter with advice of delivery means that the recipient signs for and picks up the item at their nearest post office or service point, and you get proof that the recipient has picked up the item, which is sent to you after collection. You can also track the item with its tracking number.

Prices
The prices apply to letters with stamps or a postage label. A fee for large letters may be added.
