Volumetric weight calculation
A parcel can be light but still take up a lot of space. For this reason, the volume is converted to weight by treating each cubic metre as 250 kg. You pay whichever is higher, the actual weight or the volumetric weight.
Delivery
With Åland Parcel, you can send parcels of up to 30 kilos within Åland. You drop off your parcel at the nearest post office or service point, and it is delivered to the recipient without a signature by the next day at the latest. If the recipient is not at home, the parcel may be left on the steps or by the door. You order and pay for the freight at our post offices or at one of our service points.
