P.O. Boxes

P.O. Box is a service where Åland Post rents out a locked P.O. Box at specifically defined locations, the post office in Mariehamn and the postal terminal in Sviby, which the customer uses to receive and regularly pick up items.

The customer uses the address of the rented P.O. Box as the delivery address for items delivered in Åland Post's regular mail delivery. The P.O. Box is only intended for receiving and picking up daily mail delivered to the customer in Åland Post's regular mail delivery. The P.O. Box service can only be used if the daily volume of items fits in the box. The P.O. Box is not intended for storing mail.
