Here you will find postage rates for domestic and international letters.
Letter dimensions and size
Minimum size
9 x 13 cm within the Nordic countries and 9 x 14 cm to other countries.
Maximum size
Width + length + thickness = 90 cm, but the maximum length is 60 cm.
Maximum weight
2 kg.
Letter in the form of a roll (Åland)
The minimum size is length + twice the diameter at least 17 cm, but the length must be at least 10 cm. The maximum size is length + twice the diameter at most 104 cm, but the length must be at most 90 cm.
Bulky letter (Åland)
A letter is bulky when it is larger than a standard mail slot, that is, when the shortest side is over 25 cm, or the longer side is over 40 cm and/or the letter is thicker than 3 cm. Priority bulky letters take one day longer to deliver.
A surcharge is charged for bulky letters.
Our letter service is for you who want to send greetings and light goods weighing up to two kilos within Åland and to the rest of the world. You can buy stamps at our service points and post offices.
Write the recipient's and sender's name and postal address on the letter and place the stamp in the top right corner. Post the letter in one of our mailboxes or hand it in at one of our service points.
Postage rates
These prices apply only to payment in cash or with stamps, and to letters with a stamp or postage label. For bulky letters, that is, letters that do not fit through a standard mail slot, a surcharge is charged. See bulky letter as an add-on.
